Our Mission:

Cub Scout Pack 436 is an organization for cultivating leadership, confidence and experience in young boys with their families. The pack establishes activities that are fun with purpose in a Christian environment while imparting duty to God, duty to country, duty to family and duty to self.

  • Fun Activities

    • Camping – Spring and Fall pack camp-outs, District Cub-O-Ree

    • Races – Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Space Derby

    • Outings – Ohio Caverns, Apple Farm, Reds Games, Dayton Dragons Scout Clinics, Cincinnati Zoo Overnighter, New Stations, Police and Fires Stations, District Spook-O-Ree and much more!

    • Pack Special Events – Blue and Gold Banquet, Advancement and Cross-over Ceremonies, Pack Lock-in

  • Community Service

    • Honoring USA/ Military – Troop Care Packages, Veterans Day flag retirement ceremony, Memorial Day Parade

    • Conservation/Service – Maintain garden at the church, Help with Otterbein walking trail

    • Community Relief – Help serve meals to needy each month, Scouting for Food drive, Christmas Angel Tree, Help Countryside Nazarene with Love Lebanon renovation projects

  • Faith Encouraging Activities

    • Religious Emblem programs (God and Me, God and Family, God and Country) taught every fall/winter.

    • Scout Sunday service at Countryside Nazarene each February

    • Youth-geared devotion at camp-outs on Sunday mornings

    • Prayer to open and close all pack meetings and events as well as before meals
