Scouting’s Journey to Excellence” is the BSA’s performance recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and measure the performance of our units, districts, and councils. It replaced the Centennial Quality Awards Program as a means of encouraging excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of the BSA.
Commissioners are key to helping units understand the program and how it helps them and the youth we all serve to get a better program.
Commissioners are also key to helping their District and the Council achieve goals for Unit Service. One of the key metrics is based on number of unit visits recorded in the UVTS tracking system.
