“Uncle Dan” Statue Unveiling
You’re Invited to an Unveiling!
All Scouts and Scouters are invited to a celebration of Scouting’s Heritage as we recognize Scouting Benefactor BOB GRIFFIN, with the dedication of Bob’s gift to the community, a bronze statue of Dan Beard.
The statue, will be known as “Uncle Dan”, and will be unveiled at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Everyone is invited to gather starting at 1:30. There will be refreshments and an opportunity to take home a commemorative gift.
This statue will be a landmark as well as an iconic image representing the heritage of the Scouting program. You won’t want to miss this special day as we present Uncle Dan for the first time!
