Remembering Mr. Everett Sherron
Dan Beard Council Scouts and Scouters,
The visitation and funeral arrangements for Mr. Sherron have been set and are as follows:
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Wilson Schram Spaulding Funeral Home. The address is 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH US 45044.
There will be a second visitation from 12:30 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Middletown’s First United Methodist Church. The address is 120 S. Broad St., Middletown, OH US 45044.
The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2017, also at Middletown FUMC.
The burial will be held at Butler County Memorial Park immediately following the conclusion of the funeral and funeral procession. The address is 4570 Trenton-Oxford Rd., Wayne Township, OH US 45011
To help honor their father (and grandfather, and great-grandfather) who spent over 70 years of his 100 years of life devoted to Scouting, the Sherron family has requested that the road inside the Butler County Memorial Park from the entrance to the graveside be lined with Scouts and Scouters in uniform displaying their unit and US flags. Scouts will need to be at the cemetery by 2:30 PM to ensure everything is set up before the funeral procession arrives. Groups with multiple vehicles are asked to keep one vehicle in the parking lot near the cemetery office, and all other vehicles at Edgewood High School about a half mile down the road to ensure ample parking. Mr. George Lude will be lending us many additional US flags (the size that are put out at military graves for Memorial Day) for your Scouts to hold in addition to your unit’s US flags.
If you can assist with this request, please coordinate through Mr. Sherron’s home troop, Troop 718, at t18middletown@gmail.com, or call or text us at 513-267-6224.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in honoring Mr. Sherron.
