The Golden Eagle Breakfast brings together Northern Kentucky’s top corporate and community leaders to honor an outstanding member of our community and to support Scouting. Guests are invited to enjoy a fun filled and entertaining presentation along with delicious food, drinks, and the feeling that comes with philanthropic compassion. This is the annual fundraiser to support Scouting in Northern Kentucky. All proceeds benefit the Dan Beard Council, BSA.

Norm Desmarais | Founding Partner of TiER1 Performance Solutions
Norm Desmarais currently serves as board member and Founding Partner of TiER1 Performance Solutions, Managing Partner of Entrep, an organization dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs and founding partner of Jalika Capital, a real estate investment company. Since 1989, Norm has founded several high-tech companies serving industries including Entertainment, Fortune 500, Government Agencies, Department of Defense, and Healthcare.
Starting with a single office here in Covington, TiER1 has grown to over 350 employees in 11 cities, has been recognized for fifteen straight years on Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing private companies in the US; named Inc. Magazine’s Top 50 Best Workplaces in the US; Cincinnati’s Best Places to Work and received US Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Award. Norm was also the 2007 SBA Kentucky Small Business Person of the Year.
Norm currently serves as a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and TriEd Board of Directors. He recently served on the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents and the Norther Kentucky University Foundation Board. Previous volunteer efforts included Kentucky’s Commission for Small Business Advocacy, Gateway Community and Technical College Foundation Board, United Way’s 211 Advisory Board, Covington’s Bicentennial Committee, NKY Ezone, and many more.
Norm holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fitchburg State University and MBA from Western New England University.

Roger Babik | Founder, President of Master Provisions
Roger Babik is a life-long Greater Cincinnatian, graduating from Madeira high school in 1975 and Milligan College (TN) in 1979. After college, he married Tanya Oakes and settled in Northern Kentucky in 1980. He was called by God to launch Master Provisions (MP) in 1994 while working in sales and marketing at Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company. Roger volunteered part-time for two years to manage all details of the mission startup including all administrative and operations activities. In May of 1996, he ended a 17-year career in telecommunications to serve full-time at MP as President.
An ordained pastor, Roger has gifts of public speaking, serving, faith, and administration as well as creative writing. He authored a book “Call Against the Will” in 2006. Roger has led 48 international mission trips since founding MP and travels regularly to represent the mission. In addition to international outreach, MP started meeting local hunger needs in 2013 and launched a transportation social enterprise in 2015. The Babiks reside in Walton, KY, and Tanya is a collaborative special education teacher at Ryle High School. Their four children are grown and married, and all reside in Northern Kentucky. Roger and Tanya attend First Church of Christ, Union campus, and became grandparents in May 2016. They have 6 grandchildren as of July 2020.
