CALLING ALL GAMERS!

Don’t let the onset of winter get you down, come get your game on at Camp Friedlander’s Dining Hall. On Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10AM to 4PM, grab your friends and come out to try some play some table top games and work on some fun Merit Badges! Volunteers from local hobby stores and game shops will be on-site to teach Scouts to play some of the gaming industry’s hottest and most fun new board games!

Ages: 11+ (Troops and Crews)

For the card gamers, bring your Magic: the Gathering, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh decks for friendly and casual gaming and trading. You can meet with counselors for the Game Design and Collections merit badges, or work on your Chess merit badge as you learn one of humanity’s most cherished strategy games: Chess!

Please remember that gambling is not a Scout-approved activity; but we will have opportunities for Scouts to play in Magic drafts or casual tournaments.

Drinks and snacks will be sold all day for consumption only in a designated area of the dining hall.  Stay tuned for updates as the list of playable game options grows!
