Local Nonprofit aims to “break the internet” this week

CINCINNATI, OH; August 30, 2016—On Thursday, September 1, Scouts and Scouters in the Greater Cincinnati area will wear their Scouting uniforms with hopes of “breaking the internet” on #ScoutSHARE day. ScoutSHARE is all about sharing the story and impact of Scouting across the community.

To celebrate the Scouting movement, Dan Beard Council – Boy Scouts of America, encourages all Scouting families to show their Scouting pride by wearing their uniforms or anything Boy Scout related on September 1. In honor of #ScoutSHARE Day, Dan Beard Council will be giving away special prizes to those who share a photo using the #ScoutSHARE.

The Dan Beard Council prepares more than 30,000 youth to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Scouting provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. The most powerful way  to grow the Scouting program is a parent talking to another parent about the value of Scouting, or a Scout inviting one of his friends to join him for the fun and adventure.
