What Is Launch Into Scouting? Launch into Scouting is Dan Beard Council’s new initiative to engage and retain our Scouts immediately upon joining. We’re asking each unit to offer these three fun and exciting activities during the first 60 days of their pack’s fall program.

Why Use Launch Into Scouting? This effort is about enhancing a family’s first impression by supporting you in your pack’s planning and creating a great first experience for your new Scouts. By implementing this initiative, we’ll also be able to promote the fun activities a new Scout will enjoy on the recruitment materials used by all of our packs.
