Robert Stout is a former New Jerseyan who has now lived here in Ohio longer, and is just one year shy of his years involved in Scouting, accumulating to nearly 40 years! He has worked at the Scouting Outfitters’ Dan Beard Scout Shop for 11 years, seeing it through many transitions.

He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors via hiking, canoeing and camping, largely with my current Scout Troop and family. I have a great respect for the environment and wildlife, and engage via my memberships in The Sierra Club, The Nature Conservancy and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. (Totally a history and music buff as well, from Bach to rock!)
