Phil Schirtzinger is Dan Beard Council’s Unit Growth Executive and spends his time throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky starting new units with an emphasis on Cub Scout Packs and Scouts BSA Troops.

Phil resides in Union, KY and attended Northern Kentucky University.

A Scout from Troop 702 in Union, Phil earned his Eagle Scout rank in 2015. He had many amazing opportunities while on his Scouting journey, including travel to places like Philmont and the Bahamas, and, of course, he spent every summer at Camp Friedlander. According to Phil, “Scouting gave [him] some of the best experiences of [his] life, and [he is] grateful for the opportunity to help more kids create those same memories.”

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, Bengals football, movies, video games, skiing, and just about anything outdoors.
