For those kids looking for the ultimate Cub Scout summer camp experience, this is it! This resident style camp is a three-day and two-night program with fun around every turn. Camping at the Cub Scout level introduces boys and girls to the outdoors and helps them develop outdoor skills at an age-appropriate level that will be applied more thoroughly as a Scout in Scouts, BSA. As Cub Scouts progress, the opportunities for outdoor adventures become more challenging.
Camp Friedlander is the premier Scouts BSA Summer Camp program with a wide variety of merit badge options, activities for younger and older Scouts, training opportunities for adult leaders, and some of the best camping facilities in the country. Each summer, thousands of Scouts from across the nation (and the world!) make Camp Friedlander their summer camp home for a fun week of learning, achievement, leadership, and Scouting at its best.
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting and powerful program designed to provide Scouts 13-20 years of age with enhanced leadership skills training and experience they can use to lead themselves and others throughout the rest of their lives. This week-long outdoor experience for Scouts who are at least First Class, or a member of a Crew, Ship or Post, represents a month in the life of a typical Scout unit.
Cub Scout Day Camp offers fun and exciting programs at two locations in Dan Beard Council this summer. It is the perfect place to experience outdoor adventures of the Cub Scout program. Explore nature, play games, make crafts and learn new skills and overcome challenges! These 5-day camps include activities such as archery, BB guns, hiking, STEM, and more, and are scheduled so all attendees have the opportunity to participate in each activity.
