The Dan Beard Council offers several opportunities for Friends of Scouting to join us at events throughout the year. Each event helps the Council serve more than 10,000 youth and family members throughout southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky each year. There are many opportunities for you, business colleagues, family or friends to spend a day of fun.

Eagle Court of Honor
Dan Beard Council celebrates the significant achievement of those who earned the rank of Eagle Scout with a Council Eagle Court of Honor.
Good Scout Award Luncheon
The Good Scout Award Luncheon is the biggest annual fundraising event for the Dan Beard Council, Scouting America, and is attended by nearly 1,000 business leaders from our community who gather to support local Scouting programs in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Each year, the Good Scout Award is presented to a business or individual who has made a lasting impact in our community over the years.
Sporting Clays Tournament
Enjoy a day of shooting in support of scouting programs throughout Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. At the Dan Beard Council’ s annual Sporting Clays event, you and up to four of your co-workers, friends or clients will enjoy an amazing course, as well as lunch and post-shoot activities. Shotgun shells are provided. Dinner-only option available.
Festival of Fireworks
Join us for the Tri-State’s best view of the Riverfest Fireworks at the Festival of Fireworks in Mt. Adams. This family-friendly event offers shuttle bus service, great food, drinks entertainment, auctions and more at the premier event of the summer. It’s the perfect environment to entertain clients, customers, employees and their families!
District Events
District Events recognize community leaders that exemplify servant leadership, scouting values and serve as a role model to young people. Top corporate and community leaders gather to honor an outstanding member of our community and to support Scouting. We choose our esteemed honorees based on community service past and present, including leadership roles that support youth initiatives throughout our communities.
Each of these fundraising events increase awareness and support in the community, and proceeds from each event benefits youth in the Scouting program located in it’s district.
