Taylor to assume role of Director of Institutional Advancement

Scout Executive Tom Dugger announced that long-time Scouter Jeff Taylor will become the Director of Institutional Advancement for the Dan Beard Council.

In this new position, Jeff will be responsible for working with volunteers on establishing development plans, cultivation and stewardship of donors, execution of the Camp Michaels capital campaign, overseeing the creation of the Dan Beard Foundation, planned giving, the Good Scout Award Luncheon and special events.

For the last 2 ½ years, Jeff has served as the council’s planned giving director and more recently, he began working with volunteers on “Seeding a Future of Leaders”, the campaign for Camp Michaels.

Jeff is an Eagle Scout, a former scoutmaster for Troop 209 in Madeira and currently serves as Blue Jacket District’s training chair.
