The Hopkins District committee invites you to an evening benefitting the Hopkins District; An outreach initiative of the Dan Beard Council/Boy Scouts of America that provides the scouting experience through in-school and after-school programs to inner-city or low-income areas of Cincinnati.

EVENT DETAILS:
In the spirit of scouting, this event celebrates all that is manhood, including strong drinks, epic beards, cigars, rich leather, mahogany, and chivalry. Dudes, don your most dapper attire, and get a head-start on your Novembeard growing efforts for the “Best Beard for Dan Beard” beard growing competition. The winner of the “Best Beard for Dan Beard” will win a bottle of Blanton’s fine bourbon whiskey. Entries will be judged on magnitude, as well as overall style by three expert judges from the Paragon Salon.
Held in the richly decorated private event space of Butcher and Barrel, admission includes tastings of three unique bourbons or bubbles, and appetizers from the kitchen of Alfio Gulisano. After you’ve enjoyed your tastings, make your way over to the bar for a Girl Scout Cookie, Buttered Popcorn, or Midnight Campfire shots! Partake in the live digital silent auction, where you can bid on a 4-night stay on Norris Lake, a 3-night staycation in an OTR loft, autographed Cincinnati sports memorabilia, among other items! The hot-ticket raffle item is a bottle of 10-year Rip Van Winkle!*
For the cigar aficionado, cigars will be available for purchase to enjoy on the private cigar patio with direct access from the main event space. And for those guests who aren’t afraid to take a chance on an adult game of ring toss, a spin at “Ring Around the Roses” could send you home with a bottle of Four Roses Bourbon for $5!
