78,524
Hours of Community Service In 2020
In a year that included stay-at-home orders and gathering limits, Scouts still completed 78,524 service hours in 2020, with 283 Scouts achieving the Eagle Scout rank! The focus of service projects this year centered around supporting basic needs in our communities:

Scouting helps youth move from their best “right now” self to their best future self by building things, making friends, working together, setting goals and achieving them. These life-changing experiences–and the confidence they provide–form a foundation that lets them embrace the opportunity and overcome obstacles.

Cub Scout Pack 943 participated in Trash the Trash Clean-Up where Scouts learned about the importance of cleaning up the environment.

Cub Scout Pack 293 of the
CrossWay Community Christian Church participated in a twilight service project of cleaning up trash in a field in Harrison, Ohio.
