NEW! THE AMAZON APP GIVES BACK TO LOCAL SCOUTING

You may have heard of AmazonSmile already, but now the Amazon App will also donate to local Scouting when you make regular Amazon purchases. It takes seconds to setup. From within the App, click the menu (☰). Scroll to the very bottom and click “Settings.” Then click “AmazonSmile.” Now just add Dan Beard Council and activate AmazonSmile in the app. You’re done! And now, Amazon will donate .5% of your purchases to local Scouting!

In the Amazon app, click on the three bars to open the menu, and click on “Turn ON AmazonSmile”.

Select your nonprofit you would like to support, which would be Dan Beard Council Boy Scouts of America.

In order for Amazon Smile to support your nonprofit, you must have your notifications turned on. The app walks you through how to do this. Once you select “receive notifications,” you can then click on “Turn On Amazon Smile.”

The last screen is viewing your settings to check that the nonprofit is selected. You can also see the impact of Amazon Smile and how much donations you have generated by shopping using Amazon and Amazon Smile!
