The Cincinnati Reds and the Dan Beard Council are proud to present the 7th Annual Reds Scout Event at Great American Ball Park. Join us on September 7th for a Scout pregame parade around the field and get your very own Reds/Scouts Hat! We will have a number of fun exclusive activities for Scouts and their families after the game so get your tickets now! The Reds will be taking on the Las Angeles Dodgers at 1:05 pm. Scouts and their families receive discounted tickets to the game. Be sure to act quickly because it is also Joe Morgan Day, so the tickets are expected to go fast. Click the article title or read more to get additional information about event details and the event schedule.
*Due to scheduling conflicts with MLB, there will not be an overnight this year, but there are plenty of fun activities planned for Scout Day.
Scout Hats: Using your specially marked “Scout” ticket, you will need to go to the Scout Table located near the fan zone stage to pick up your hat, if you are picking up hats for the troop or pack, you will need to bring everyone’s ticket with you. (1 ticket = 1 hat). This table will be open from when gates open at 11:35 to the end of the 5th inning. (If you are planning on taking part in the parade, please pick up your hat afterwards as the parade will leave soon after gates open)
Run the Bases/Dugout Tour: For those wanting to participate in the post-game run the bases and dugout tour, there will be announcements towards the end of the game to start organizing at the fan zone stage at the conclusion of the game. Once there, there will be a short announcement from the Reds and the Dan Beard Council, then we will escort everyone into position for running the bases.
Movie: Once you are done running the bases we start sitting folks in sections 129-131 to watch the movie. Once everyone is done and settled we will start the movie! Once the movie is done, you are free to go!
