The "DON"T MISS EVENT" for all Webelos is Webelos Outdoor Weekend (WOW), the one weekend for Webelos to experience what its like to be Boy Scouts!. Your Webelos Den will camp side by side with Boy Scout Troops from your District and around the Council at our world class Boy Scout Camp - CAMP FRIEDLANDER. On Saturday, Webelos will travel from activity to activity learning Scouting skills and putting them to use. Webelos will have the opportunity to learn firebuilding, plant identification, knots & lashings, campsite & tent set up, first aid, team building and physical fitness, fish in our lake, and more from Boy Scouts and Scout Leaders. Saturday night, Webelos will join Boy Scouts for a Summer Camp style campfire followed by crackerbarrels at the Troop campsites. Sunday, we will conduct a Scout's Own service (the 12th point of the Scout Law is "A Scout is Reverent) and we will break camp.
Note: Webelos Week is designed to help Webelos prepare for and get a taste of Boy Scouting. For this reason, we will not be offering traditional Cub Scout activities like bb gun and bow & arrow shooting, etc.
